WWII Veterans Recognized at AHS

At the Arrowhead Football game on Friday, September 7th, World War II Veterans,  Bill Hilger and  Bruce Pfieffer were recognized during a ceremony prior to the game.  These two fine men served our country and were recognized by over 3,500 students, parents, and fans that were in attendance.

Below Bill Hilger and Bruce Pfeiffer tip their hats as they are introduced to the crowd.

I want to personally thank Ron Reichle, social studies teacher, who has organized recognitions of our veterans at Arrowhead athletic events for the past two years.  It is great to recognize our veterans and to present opportunities for our young people to gain an appreciation and acknowledge those who have given so much on our behalf.  Nice job Mr. Reichle!

Sincerely and with great respect,

Craig Jefson
